Fishing Reports 2009 June Week 2 Trip 2. Had the Dr. Shanning charter out on his personel boat. Guided him to 5 bass with a monster 47 pounder caught on a snag rig with 12 pound spinning tackle. This was an afternoon trip and caught the fish in a bunker pod off of Ortley Beach.
Trip 1. Had the John Hale charter out today and got into some decent striper fishing with 5 bass up to 35 lbs. Fishing was in the Spring Lake area.
Week 1 Trip 1.Had the Kevin Peters charter out for some more striped bass fishing. With the hard NE winds expected later in the morning, we left at 4:15am. Made our way upto Asbury Park area and ended the day with 7 bass to 40 lbs.
May Week 4 Trip 3. Had the Paul S. charter out and experienced a slow day of striper fishing with only 1 bass to 35 lbs. Trip 2. Had the Frasco charter out for an evening bass fishing trip. Good bite off a Manasquan Beach. Went 11 for 14 with bass to 35 lbs.
Trip 1. Had the Preis charter out for some trophy striped bass fishing. Good morning bite as we went 16 for 20 with bass to 45 lbs. Most fishing was just north of Manasquan inlet.
Week 3 Bluefish in the canal. Overall slow day. |
